Dr. Paula Tanasa is a board-certified, fellowship-trained rheumatologist at Arthritis and Rheumatology of Georgia, serving patients in Sandy Springs, Atlanta, and the surrounding communities. She provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and complex inflammatory conditions. Originally from Romania, Dr. Tanasa graduated from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest and completed additional training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology before continuing her medical training in the United States. She is committed to compassionate, personalized care that helps patients better understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term health goals.

She has a special interest in caring for women of reproductive age with autoimmune diseases, including patients who are planning for pregnancy or navigating rheumatologic care during pregnancy.
