Our History
Dr. Gary Myerson opened Arthritis and Rheumatology of Georgia (ARG) in 1982, establishing a cornerstone for high-quality rheumatology care in Atlanta. Dr. Paul Sutej joined the practice in 2005, bringing his extensive experience from his tenure as a faculty member at Wake Forest University. In 2011, Cashelle Rose, PA-C, became part of ARG after completing her studies at Emory University, partnering with Dr. Sutej to provide comprehensive care to their patients. Dr. Paula Tanasa joined ARG in 2016 following her fellowship in rheumatology at Emory University Hospitals.

As part of our commitment to continuity of care, Arthritis and Rheumatology of Georgia offers an in-house infusion suite, staffed with experienced registered nurses, ensuring that patients receive their treatments in a comfortable and familiar environment. We also provide on-site laboratory services through LabCorp, allowing for prompt and accurate diagnostic testing. Additionally, ARG actively participates in numerous research studies, focusing on a wide spectrum of rheumatology-related concerns, contributing to advancements in the field.
