As part of SERA, Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance, our board-certified rheumatologists and experienced advanced practice providers diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including arthritis, inflammatory disorders, connective tissue diseases, and other complex immune-based conditions. Our practice offers convenient support services, including an in-house infusion suite, onsite laboratory services, and telemedicine appointments when appropriate.

Dr. Brent Flickinger has been named President of Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance (SERA)
We are proud to announce that Dr. Brent Flickinger has been named President of Southeastern Rheumatology Alliance (SERA). Dr. Flickinger brings a wealth of expertise, leadership, and dedication to our mission of delivering exceptional care.
A graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Flickinger completed his internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. With over 17 years of experience in clinical practice, he is board-certified in rheumatology and is deeply committed to advancing the field.
As President, Dr. Flickinger will continue to work closely with SERA’s management team, physicians, and office staff to refine best practices, foster a collaborative work environment, and build on SERA’s achievements.
